Description:

The Quality Final Inspector is responsible for performing final and in-process inspections of assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts to ensure full conformance to approved engineering drawings, specifications, and quality requirements prior to shipment. This role serves as a critical quality gate, ensuring product conformity, documentation accuracy, and compliance with applicable FAA, customer, and internal quality system requirements

Key Responsibilites:
  • Perform in-process and final inspections of mechanical and electromechanical assemblies, subassemblies, and components using visual inspection, measurement tools, and functional testing methods
  • Conduct functional and operational testing using appropriate electronic and test equipment to verify product performance and compliance to acceptance criteria
  • Verify product conformity against approved drawings, work instructions, inspection procedures, and acceptance test procedurtes (ATP)
  • Identify, document, and communicate nonconformances in accordance with established quality procedures
  • Accurately complete all required inspection records, travelers, inspection reports, and logbooks
  • Review production and inspection documentation to confirm all required manufacturing, inspection, and testing steps have been properly completed and documented
  • Ensure inspection records are legible, complete, accurate, and traceable
  • Prepare products for shipment by verifying completion and accuracy of all required documentation, including inspection and test data
  • Ensure required approvals and signatures are present prior to release
  • Forward product and documentation to Shipping in accordance with procedures
  • Inspect nameplates, labels, or identification markings to the drawings as required to maintain product identification and traceability
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of experience performing final or quality inspection in an aerospace or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
  • Experience working within FAA, AS9100, or equivalent quality systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently, and effective time management skills.


Compensation

Employee Type: Hourly

Salary Minimum: $40, 000

Salary Maximum: $50, 000
