Description:

Summarise the purpose of this position to assess its expected contribution to the results of the organisation

This will include his key responsibilities:

• Prepares Logistics studies and responsible for Logistics flow deployment projects

• Reports solid line to EAJP Logistics & Network Engineering lead

• Responsible for all logistics flows and project from a schedule, quality, cost, and CAPEX (investments, expenses) perspective.

• Responsible for ensuring continuity of customer deliveries during all transformation projects

• Responsible for coordinating with all stakeholders within the project scopes

• Ensure project leaders are following the Schneider Electric Logistics Network Design Policy, guidelines and best practices.

• Define the best logistics and transportation process and technology to be used within distribution centers and service providers.

• Provide strong support for Logistics cluster lead to ensure all projects are well known and he or she is updated regularly.

• For OCP projects, work closely to project teams to ensure the best logistics methods and tax optimization strategy is considered in the decision making.

• Participate as a key stakeholder during steering committee meetings for all rebalance and OCP within cluster.

• Provide mentoring and guidance for projects leaders- Project management, best known logistics and transportation, and supply chain techniques.

• Responsible for design and manage flow logistics flow changes within region to optimize logistics lead time and cost.

- Decision authority over industrialisation project leaders in EAJP logistics network

4 Long term responsibility:

- Logistics Network design optimization and lead time reduction

- Level of relationship and collaboration with cross-functional activities

- Strong influence on distribution center management, factory management, purchasing and global network design team.

5. Key responsibility that will differentiate this position from the immediate position below him:

- achieving project objectives: schedule, customer deliveries, manufacturing quality and cost

Qualifications

1. Required skills & knowledge for the position:

• Strong project management skills in handling multiple projects simultaneously

• Strong experience in planning, logistics and transportation ( working in distribution center or management complex projects transformation a logistics design)

• Strong Leadership and mentoring skills for project leaders

• Understand OCP, industrial, and supply chain process very well. Can be considered a resource trainer.

• 6 sigma knowledge is not necessary but is a plus

• SPS Logistics knowledge

• People management skills are very important.

• Must work within a complex matrix organization structure and collaborate with other cross- functional team members from multiple countries.

2. Required Educational Background & Professional Experience:

5 years experience and should be expert in at least one Industrial trade ( Supply Chain, Purchasing, or SC Planning).

Degree in an engineering field with good technical knowledge

Minimum 5 years professional experience (less experience is required for small projects)

Similar job in different industry is also a good possibility).
