Roles and Responsibilities. The
Digital Buildings Business of Schneider Electric provides Intelligent building management solutions to help customers create a productive and comfortable environment for its occupants, reduce energy consumption and run building operations efficiently.
The position is with the
System Integration Department. The System Integration Department is responsible for Continuous Integration Testing and System Testing of new technology, software, and services at the R& D department, before release of the technology, software, and services to the customers. The department is situated both in Andover US, and in Lund Sweden, with state-of-the art laboratories at each site.
Schneider Electric now has a challenging opportunity for a passionate individual to assume the role of
Software Test Engineer for our EcoStruxure Building Operation software solution in Lund, Sweden.
In this role you will work closely together, not only with your peer Test Engineers within the department, but also with our R& D Software Development Teams, in a scaled agile environment. You will have or gain profound knowledge of Schneider Electric Digital Buildings products and solutions.

QualificationsQualifications. • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or similar discipline, or extensive experience servicing, maintaining, commissioning or application design for Building Management Systems
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
• Fluent in English
- 5+ years of Experience with intelligent Building Management Systems (BMS) gained by extensive field base work on any manufacture's BMS
• Knowledge of Windows based PC hardware/software and networking technology is preferred
• Knowledge of embedded/Linux systems are preferred, both HW and SW
