Role Overview

The Pharma Solution Engineer / Solution Architect is responsible for designing and implementing Building Management System (BMS) and laboratory automation solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and research laboratories. The role focuses on integrating HVAC systems, environmental monitoring, and laboratory infrastructure while ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, and regulatory requirements. The engineer collaborates with project, validation, and facility teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and scalable automation solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement BMS architecture including controllers, servers, network topology, and field devices, Reports & Integration Driver for pharma facilities and laboratories.
  • Develop monitoring and control solutions for cleanroom HVAC systems, temperature, humidity, and differential pressure.
  • Integrate laboratory infrastructure systems including scrubber systems, BLED systems, laboratory room controllers, and fume hood control solutions.
  • Implement monitoring for stability chambers, incubators, cold rooms, ultra-low freezers, and environmental chambers.
  • Ensure system design aligns with GMP, GLP, GAMP5, and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance requirements.
  • Support system integration, commissioning, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
  • Work with project teams, validation teams, and customers during design reviews and project execution.
Technical Skills & Capabilities
  • Strong knowledge of BMS platforms and HVAC automation systems used in pharmaceutical facilities.
  • Experience with communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and OPC.
  • Understanding of cleanroom environmental monitoring and laboratory safety systems.
  • Ability to support local software development for custom features, graphics, and integration drivers required for third-party system connectivity.
  • Capability to develop custom drivers or interfaces for laboratory equipment and specialized systems integrated into the BMS platform.


8 - 14 Years of Experience in relevant field

BE/B.Tech from a reputed institute or any equivalent qualification
