Description:
We are currently seeking a Software Test Engineer to join our Services Lob - Software - Expert Tools Group.
Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):
- Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test documents for Windows-based applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, performance, and integration testing to ensure software meets quality standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects using [bug tracking tool, e.g., JIRA, Azure].
- Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Participate in specification reviews and provide constructive feedback on design and implementation.
- Perform compatibility testing across various Windows platforms and configurations.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality.
- Assist in the development of testing standards and best practices.
- Automation (Nice to have)
Qualifications - External
- Bachelor's degree in electrical / Electronics/ Instrumentation / Computer Science engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in software testing, specifically for Windows-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of testing methodologies and software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Proficient in creating and executing test cases and test documents.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (Nice to have).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git).
