Job Purpose

Pricing is consistently a source of pain for our Customers and Employees. Different programs have been set up to address these challenges from a global perspective, to realize our Pricing of the future through a better visibility of our Commercial Policy, Rebates and Pricing Waterfall, an effective use of pricing levers and tools to get the right customer at the right price.

Bringing together Countries and Businesses, to understand the impact for our customers, our teams, and our performance, digitizing our process to be faster and more efficient... we aim to provide a better customer experience and target margin improvement with efficient and effective pricing, including guidance.

To achieve these ambitious objectives, a rebates management tool (Vistex) is under development and deployment on a global scale. Leading the Vistex Solution Team, you are accountable for defining, documenting, and following the various sets of services (Technical, Process, People, and Tools) that may be shared and reused to enable the development and operation of the application. Also, you will supervise a global platform's technology, lifecycle management, TCO optimization, and performance matrix fulfilment. Actively supports relevant enabled End to End services and global program activities.

Mission and Key Responsibilities

Mission: to package all the technologies, processes, information, and related IT resources required to support pricing business outcome.

Key Responsibilities: Oversees Vistex, in terms of technology, lifecycle management, Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) optimization, performance matrix fulfilment. Actively supports relevant enabled End to End services and global program activities:
  • Determine platform positioning (what is the platform designed to do)
    Define the platform target operating model (including solution design & delivery) and level of service per capability owner.
    § Manage platform security aligned with Schneider Security policy compliance
    § Manage platform transformation (assess, plan, delivers, reports)
    § Propose platform strategy and roadmap to governance bodies.
    § Prioritize product owner and stakeholder demands (Product owner makes functional decisions: The platform owner can veto contributions)
    § Make technology-related decisions.
    § Communicate and document all needs for governing bodies, and establish and communicate application deployments
    § Define technological roadmap (cloud, upgrades, decommissioning) with platform/capability architect and Capability Leader
    § Ensure the platform's overall service meets set levels and coordinate reporting.
    § Coordinate costs with finance. Total cost of ownership and cost optimization techniques must be identified and applied.
    § Document platform leveraging Schneider standards. Ensures platform security is risk-based

Requirements

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:
  • 8 - 10 years relevant experience - responsible for the development of the software platform to support various applications. Lead a team to design, develop, test, debug, and implement Price Fx as a scalable software platform in support of end users' needs.
    Create product roadmap, define technical requirements, and develop platform architecture.
    § Provide technical documentation, guidance, and support on platform capabilities.
    • Expertise in software programming languages and database technologies
    o Has experience giving service to customers based on continuous evaluation of performance, quality, and level of satisfaction, and knows what needs to be done to improve it.
    o Has experience designing large-scale IT systems, integrating different business processes, and combining infrastructure design with application architecture to create an end-to-end customer-facing application.
    o Is Responsible for the IT budget and costs
    o Anticipates issues and risks, analyzes and understands their causes, proposes and implements solutions.
    OTHERS:
    § Excellent communication and influencing skills
    § Strong Hands-on IT background as part of overall experience
    § Strong English. Ability to cooperate and work in multicultural environment
    § Listening, negotiation, leadership, decision making
