Description:

Offer/Project Quality leader.

The primary responsibility of this role is to lead the Quality & Customer Satisfaction of Schneider Electric worldwide Single-phase Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) products.

Mission: Project Quality Leader
  • Experience in New Product development processes and hands-on knowledge on PMP lifecycle
  • Ensuring that the 'Voice of the Customer' is well collected, analyzed, ranked and taken into account across the project lifecycle.
  • Set the Project Quality Goals, based on the project requirements.
  • Translate the quality objectives listed in the requirements into quality commitments to be met in the project & validate consistency of project quality plans.
  • Tracking and reporting of Project Quality goals & metrics, highlight the risks or gaps to the project to the stakeholders.
  • Facilitate Project Quality reviews with support from Project manager.
  • Co-pilot the project with Project Manager for project success, with right product quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Follow the progress of Quality Plan with the respective functions.
  • Challenge the functions on the Quality of their decision files.
  • Ensure Quality checks are in place (in terms of documentation, Design and test Methodology)
  • Ensure the Change Control Board is effectively managed and the outcome is effectively communicated to the Key stake holders
  • Ensure that the DFMEA points identified during the early phase of the project are deployed in Product and in technical publication.
  • Perform Project Requirements Management, Feasibility Study and Functional Testing.
  • Formulate a 'GO / No-GO' opinion based on the Quality risks at each Project step.
  • Conduct Peer reviews on deliverables of each project stage gate
  • Ensures that the Offer quality is built-in to reach the satisfaction of the future customers.
  • Review of the Verification & Validation test plan for projects
  • Drive Offer Safety requirements on projects & ensure compliance.
  • Strong experience/skills in Design for Reliability, 8D problem solving, APQP, Ishikawa, FMEA, FTA
  • Working knowledge on Six Sigma tools & methodology (DFSS / DMAIC)
  • Perform QMS compliance audits & ISO 9001 internal audits on projects and report the findings to management.
  • Lead Continuous Quality improvement activities.
Mission: Offer Quality Leader
  • Collect and analyze all data relative to the range quality on a worldwide scope, with a specific focus on customer experience.
  • Define the Offer Quality Performance targets and manage the execution of the improvement plan in coordination with Plants and Partners.
  • Review Offer performance and manage the performance gaps (surveillance plan, etc..).
  • Guarantee Customer Satisfaction, quality and efficiency of Offer evolution actions, challenging on the quality of deliverables.
  • Define the quality priorities and contribute to range strategy by a strong presence in Boards Of Change.
  • Create and oversee implementation of Offer Quality Assurance Plans.
Qualifications (External)

B.E or B-Tech / M.E or M-Tech (Electrical & Electronics Engineering / Industrial Engineering) with Overall 18 to 20 years of relevant Quality experience in Electrical / Electronics industry.

  • Demonstrate good Analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience in Change management & implementation methodology.
  • Excellent Communication skills (Written / Verbal).
  • Self-driven candidate.
