Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Team Lead for Global Mobility to oversee and drive the success of international project-based assignments across our global operations. This role is critical in supporting the deployment of technical and engineering talent to customer projects worldwide, ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and a positive employee experience.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in global mobility, particularly in managing short- and long-term international assignments tied to customer projects in industrial or engineering environments.

Key Responsabilités:
  • Lead and manage a team of global mobility specialists supporting international assignments for customer-facing projects (team members based in Europe, India and APAC).
  • Partner with project managers, HRBPs, legal, tax, and compliance teams to design and execute assignment strategies aligned with business needs.
  • Oversee the end-to-end assignment lifecycle, including cost projections, immigration, relocation, tax compliance, and repatriation.
  • Maintain and propose improvements to assignment policies and frameworks tailored to project-based deployments (e.g., commissioning engineers, field service teams).
  • Ensure compliance with global tax, immigration, and labor regulations, leveraging external vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and report on assignment KPIs, cost efficiency, and employee satisfaction.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including digital tools, process automation, and policy harmonization.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on mobility trends, risks, and strategic workforce deployment.


Preferred Experience:
  • Familiarity with assignment types such as rotational deployments, commissioning assignments, and short-term project support.
  • Experience with mobility analytics and reporting tools.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, International Relations, or related field; Master's preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in global mobility, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team management role.
  • Proven experience managing project-based international assignments globally (all regions) in industrial or engineering environments.
  • Strong knowledge of global tax, immigration, and labor law considerations.
  • Experience working with vendors (e.g., relocation, tax, immigration) and global mobility platforms
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and global environment.
