Description:

What will you do:
  • Accountable for the successful delivery of projects within assigned area of responsibility, ensuring we achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction resulting in business growth in our targeted segments - Building Management Systems / IBMS
  • Provide direction and leadership to the Global Engineering, Centre of Excellence team, ensuring the ongoing development of the team's skills/competences and that resource levels are optimized to meet the company's objectives.
  • Establish excellence in all aspects of the engineering delivery, driving a of zero defects ethos, to ensure we achieve the highest level of quality
  • Ensure high degree of collaboration & teamwork is established between Global Engineering, Centre of Excellence, country teams, regional competency centres & stakeholders to maximise success of overall customer program
  • Drive a discipline of efficiency & standardisation within the Engineering team, resulting in shorter delivery times, cost reduction, with repeatable quality on all Global Engineering, Centre of Excellence activities
  • Provide thought leadership & coaching in areas of innovation & simplification, leading the concept of translating customer requirements into an industrialized delivery model to leverage low-cost Engineering Centers
  • Lead organizational transformation to maximize the use of all global resources & capabilities for delivery of standardised engineering into Digital Energy's, Non-Targeted Segments
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, championing an approach based on lessons learned to drive systematic & sustainable step changes
  • Participate as an active member of the Digital Energy Systems leadership team, providing a proactive contribution to ensure we lead innovation, best practice sharing & implementation with all aligned global teams.
  • Ensure that the company's policies & procedures are implemented & routinely assessed to ensure all levels of quality & efficiency are subject to ongoing improvement
  • Manages budget and assets for the assigned areas
What will make you successful:
  • The successful candidate will be highly self-motivated & have a proven track record of building relationships and driving collaboration across regions, whilst working within a matrix organisation.
  • You should be able to drive change at speed, setting clear direction & have strong decision-making skills
  • We offer our customer various solutions from our product ranges, in highly standardised configurations, subsequently experience in at least one of our technical domains is preferred.
