Description:

What will you do?
  • Lead the design, development, and enhancement of the test automation framework for embedded platforms (Linux, RTOS) and cloud (Azure) services. Own the complete test lifecycle-including test scenario creation, automation, execution, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive functional, system, performance, and robustness test cases based on product and platform specifications to ensure strong test coverage.
  • Perform cybersecurity testing to validate compliance with required security standards, invariants, and best practices.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level test engineers by providing regular coaching, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing on testing techniques, automation, and technical concepts.
  • Conduct thorough peer reviews of test cases, automation scripts, and test reports, taking accountability for overall test quality and adherence to engineering standards.
  • Proactively identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early in the development lifecycle and communicate mitigation strategies effectively.


What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • Strong ability to design and write detailed test scenarios and test cases.
  • Extensive hands-on testing experience in embedded systems, especially Linux-based platforms.
  • Good understanding of Linux build environments (e.g., Yocto).
  • Strong automation expertise using Shell scripting, Python, and Robot Framework.
  • Experience working with virtualization and container platforms-deploying, managing, and optimizing test environments using cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
  • Solid experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, and build systems to support continuous integration and automated testing workflows.
  • Experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Proficiency in test management and requirements tools such as JAMA, JIRA, or equivalents.
  • Nice to have: Experience with cloud technologies (preferably Azure), along with working knowledge of JSON and REST APIs. Ability to learn this part quickly
  • Nice to have: Experience with LAVA test automation framework.
