About the position

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Data Security Leader to join our dynamic team. As a Data Security Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of our security platform. You will collaborate with technical development teams to understand their requirements and work on various aspects of our infrastructure, including Microsoft SQL, Alteryx Gallery, Tableau Server, Sharepoint, as well as cloud tools such as AWS EC2, FSx, Redshift, AWS Console and Cloudwatch. You will also be responsible for the development of data views to monitor our operations, schedules and security activity.

What You'll Do:

Data Security

Support the team's security strategy and the needs of the data analytics teams. Contribute to the design, development, documentation and maintenance of security protocols and data policies.

Implement and manage data access controls and security policies, including role-based and schema-based permissions, across a variety of tools: MS SQL Server, Active Directory, Tableau and Sharepoint.

Provide guidance to the data analytics team on secure data handling practices, including data anonymization, pseudonymization, and differential privacy techniques. And to integrate security considerations into data analytics projects.

Application Support

Manage configuration and settings for Alteryx Gallery and Tableau Server environments. Monitor application performance, resolve issues and performance bottlenecks.

Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights within Active Directory, MS SQL, Tableau Server and Alteryx Gallery.

Troubleshoot application issues and provide support to analytics team and provide user support for access-related issues.

Support network connectivity requirements, firewall requests and AWS access control requests.

Collect and analyze server data regarding data workflows, schedules and errors. Develop data views and dashboards to monitor performance of the analytics workbench.

What We Look For:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.

Proven experience in administering MS SQL Server, Alteryx Gallery, Tableau Server.

Understanding of Active Directory administration.

Knowledge of security models, schema permissions and data policies.

Experience with scripting languages (e.g., SQL) is a plus.

Knowledge of data analytics concepts and tools.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
