About the position

Data Domain Owner for Production Execution, Plant Maintenance and Quality Management

Job purpose:

Be part of global data team for GSC, govern the master data domain designs and its digital strategy, architecture and capabilities (including Best of Breeds applications) following business requirements.

As member of this global team you'll be part of the biggest digital transformation journey for SE in the coming years, by designing and building our S4 Hana Public Cloud solution.

Main responsibilities:
  • Deep understanding of data management, data integration, data migration and data lifecycle processes and principals
  • Understand data IT landscape and its architecture, as well as understand and own Best of Breed applications managed by data teams
  • Expand capabilities GSC best of breed applications (Kinaxis, Synertrade, Manhattan etc). Understand how data impacts their processes, inbound and outbound flows and its integrations.
  • Primary role is to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technology teams, ensuring that softwares and systems developed are aligned with business requirements.
  • Document, and analyse business requirements, processes, and workflows. Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams. Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing, and validation of implemented solutions.
  • Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges.
  • Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.
  • Working in an agile environment with business and technical team to identify master data objects and data business rules required to support data migration and data lifecycle. (ETL) extraction, transformation and migrate data from legacies to S4H, ensuring data migrated is compliant with data models defined.
  • Responsible to identify gaps in processes for targeted data domains ensuring solution, migration and lifecycle deliver sustainable solutions
  • Collaborate with Digital Technology Center (DTC) team to ensure programs are created and maintained for migration and lifecycle objects
  • Collect requirements, create, change, test and validate templates and data tools (Informatica DQC and SAP upload) Ensures that data quality is sustained during technical processing (such as data entry or Extract-Transform-Load operations).
  • Support Unify in data preparation, migration and validation and drive post migration improvements based on issues identified.
Skills:

Knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4 HANA data models on specific domain
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
Strong communication skills to effectively present and explain data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Knowledge of database systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MS SQL.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

• Awareness of schneider ERP and applications landscape

• Business process knowledge

• Experience working with data, data tables and ETL processes
