- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business requirements.
- Developing and maintaining data lake and data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures and relational/non-relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics.
Education • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications: -
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in data engineering with an emphasis on data processing & minimum 3 years' experience as data architect/designing data engineering solutions.
- Hands on experience leading large-scale data related and/or database projects.
- Experience in building or optimizing data pipelines, architectures, and data sets.
- Architect data ingestion, processing solutions such as ETL, ELTs on a wide set of data storage solutions.
- Strong experience with Azure cloud technologies say- Azure Data Bricks, Lake house architecture.
- Cloud database technologies, data ingestion, data storage, real-time processing, and analytics.
- Database and analytical technologies like MongoDB, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB, Data Lake design, Data Warehouse design, BI reporting and Dashboarding.
- Experience with data transformation and manipulation using Azure Databricks or similar tools.
- Solid scripting experience with Python, Py-spark /R, Scala, Dotnet
- Cloud storage, data stream processing, serverless interactive queries, big data platform in cloud, serverless integration service, cloud data warehouse, Kafka, Elasticsearch, MongoDB etc.
- Experience in dockers, Kubernetes, & building Microservices
- Experience on data integrations with API's.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures and a strong focus on data integrity.
- Demonstrates strong written and oral communications skills. Ability, desire, and focus to meet deadlines Demonstrates ability to work with all levels of individuals.
- Demonstrates organizational skills while working on multiple projects; and communicate effectively within the team.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD tools and concepts - Azure Pipelines, Github actions & Workflow,
- Flexible to learn on new programming languages/technologies based on project needs.
- Independent and able to manage and prioritize workload.
- Ability to guide the team on technical aspects to get desired project results.
- Ability to adapt quickly and positively to change.
