As part of the IC design team, participate in and eventually lead the development of new circuits, complete front-end, test chips, and full products for Molex Wireless Group's EHF Contactless connector product line.

As part of the IC design team, participate in and eventually lead the development of new circuits, complete front-end, test chips, and full products for Molex Wireless Group's EHF Contactless connector product line.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze functional and performance requirements and derive specifications
  • Architect circuit solutions
  • Perform schematic capture, simulation and key-element layout of cells, blocks, macros and entire devices
  • Interface with other IC designers, package and antenna designers, characterization engineers, and operations to complete working designs, ensure testability, and validate finished silicon
  • Interface with RF systems team to set system level specifications
  • Interface and collaborate with the RF System Architect to investigate new circuits and to provide high level block parameters that can be feedbacked in system simulation


Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

BSEE required, MSEE or PhD preferred

  • Minimum 10 years in RFIC Design and 10+ years in the industry
  • EHF/mmWave design experience strongly preferred
  • Some design experience must be in RF CMOS, ideally 40nm and below
  • Familiar with PAs, Modulators, LNAs, LOs, detectors, dividers, biasing, microwave/mmWave passive design
  • Experience with high speed, high precision ADC design, Digital PLL, SerDes, VCO, PMU
  • Familiarity with antennas and electromagnetic design a plus
  • Experience with both frequency- and time-domain analysis and design techniques required
  • Experience in additional non-RF analog design domains preferred
