The Cloud Infrastructure and Automation Engineer will be a part of an international team that designs, develops and delivers new applications for Koch Industries. Koch Industries is a privately held global organization with over 120, 000 employees around the world, with subsidiaries involved in manufacturing, trading, and investments. Koch Technology Center (KTC) is being developed in India to extend its IT operations, as well as act as a hub for innovation in the IT function. This role will have the opportunity to join on the ground floor and will play a critical part in helping build out the Koch Technology Center (KTC) over the next several years. Working closely with global colleagues would provide significant international exposure to the employees.

Our Team

This position will work with the Georgia-Pacific Consumer Products IT organization as a part of the KOLO IoT team. The position will report direct to the Platform team Delivery Lead, located in Bangalore, India. This team is responsible for building and

monitoring all aspects of the platform and applications (ex: secure provisioning, ingestion, and reliable publishing of IoT data, web and mobile applications). The role creates long-term value through support of our connected devices business partners. The successful candidate will be someone who connects with the business and US IT counterparts to develop and maintain strong working relationships, internalizing business strategies, and optimize value capture, will have good critical thinking skills and be a self-starter. The role requires someone with experience with partnering effectively with different levels of the organization, proactively identify and resolve problems. The candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS and IoT technologies involving devices, infrastructure and Security, and solid business analyst skills.

What You Will Do

• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of our cloud infrastructure, which include requests for new setups and troubleshooting various issues.
• Operates, documents, and maintains security controls.
• Configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of the following systems: VPCs, DNS Rules, access roles, certificates, authentication requests
• Automation of infrastructure through scripting and infrastructure as code tools (terraform, CloudFormation)
• Partnering with GP and Koch security

Assist other groups with Internet and Intranet related security activities and projects.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Bachelor's/master's degree in computer science/information technology

• 8+ years of overall IT experience

• 4+ years of experience in support of enterprise cloud infrastructure - specifically AWS.

• 4+ years' Experience with CI/CD Pipelines

• 2+ years' experience with IP based security

• 2+ years' experience managing roles and permissions in a cloud environment

• 4+ years automation of cloud infrastructure through scripting - deployment automation

• Understanding of active directory, SSO and OAUTH technologies

• 2+ Years with databases management including backup, archive and restore. Preferably Redshift, Aurora, Mysql and Databases in AWS.
Experience with any of the following technologies: Gitlab pipelines; CloudWatch; SAM Templates

What Will Put You Ahead

• One or more industry certifications such as: Network+, Security+, GSEC

• Business office skills such as product pricing, vendor management, economic modeling of products/decisions

• Experience with Process Control Networks (PCN), Operational Technology (OT), or Managing Security for PCNs

• Experience in with Azure support of enterprise cloud infrastructure

• AWS certifications (Security focused or architecture focused).
