In this role, you will:

Be a strategic technical leader responsible for architecting, delivering, and optimizing advanced analytics and data-driven solutions within the manufacturing domain. This role combines deep expertise in manufacturing systems with strong capabilities in data engineering, cloud integration, and business intelligence. The architect will lead cross-functional initiatives, influence enterprise architecture, and drive innovation through scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions.

  • Lead the architecture and delivery of end-to-end data and analytics solutions for manufacturing, integrating MES, historian, and shop floor systems with cloud-based platforms.

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, and other modern data engineering tools.

  • Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards and data models to support real-time and historical analytics for manufacturing operations.

  • Architect and manage SQL replication strategies and ensure high availability, performance, and data integrity across systems.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions that align with enterprise standards and business goals.

  • Create and maintain solution blueprints, including architecture diagrams, data flow models, integration plans, and technical documentation.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data insights and automation to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality.

  • Mentor junior engineers and analysts, fostering a culture of technical excellence and innovation.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data engineering, manufacturing IT, and cloud platforms.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

Key Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, data engineering, or manufacturing IT.

  • Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, SQL scripting, and SQL replication.

  • Power BI development and data modeling.

  • Data integration across MES, historians (e.g., OSIsoft PI), and ERP systems.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, shop floor systems (e.g., PLCs, SCADA, DCS), and IIoT concepts.

  • Experience with cloud architecture, data security, and compliance in regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Core Technical Competencies / Skills.

  • Experience with GE Proficy, ThingWorx, or Predix.

  • Exposure to AI/ML in manufacturing or predictive maintenance.

  • Knowledge of ITIL v3 and IT Service Management.

  • Hands-on experience with .NET, VB, or Python for automation and scripting SQL, VB & .NET Technologies, Advanced Excel and understanding of Data Analytics.

  • Desirable – ITIL v3 Service Management, working knowledge / exposure

  • Desirable – AGILE project methodology knowledge.
