In this role, you will:
As a Workday Security Administrator, you will work closely with business partners, analysts, and cross-functional teams to translate global security access requirements into design and configuration. Your role will be responsible for the proper maintenance and design of access controls to protect thousands of sensitive employee records, as well as facilitate the access needed for efficient and effective job performance. To perform this role, you will need to have an excellent understanding of Workday security and experience with integration system user (ISU) configuration. You will provide knowledgeable consultation and recommendations to a wide variety of stakeholder groups – including HRIT functional and integration teams, HR business teams, internal and external audit, cyber security, and legal and data privacy teams. You will be the primary subject matter expert and escalation point for all aspects related to Workday security, and own the related design, processes, and audits associated.
Serve as the primary subject matter expert in the space of global Workday security and partner directly with business and IT stakeholders to create sustainable, acceptable design plans
Design, implement and manage ongoing security structure & processes, including the completion of a total security redesign overhaul, utilizing knowledge of current configuration and future needs
Design, implement, & consult on security requirements across the HR functional space to ensure design meets organizational standards, including Talent, Compensation, Payroll, Core, Talent Acquisition, and across all regions
Partner to define automated role assignment process
Serve as POC and team lead for managed services security support team
Serve as primary POC for internal and external security audit processes utilizing data, documentation, and knowledge of internal procedures
Manage ISU creation and permissions
Administer access to tenants during testing
Troubleshoot escalated issues
Support the creation and maintenance of privileged Workday admin IDs
Complete security set up associated with tenant refreshes
Document solutions to facilitate long-term operational support
Make all changes in accordance with documented change control process
Other security support as required.

Minimum 5 years of experience as Workday Security Administrator required, with Workday security as the primary component of the job
Detail-oriented – Must be thorough and precise and audit regularly
Strong communication skills to explain security and technical concerns to non-technical, business stakeholders.
Must have a proven record of handling, maintaining, and securing highly sensitive employee information
Experience working within a complex, global organization preferred
Must have a strong understanding of system release management
Experience in advanced Workday report writing and the build of complex calculated fields preferred
