In this role, you will:

  • Serve as a Lead ABAP & MDG Consultant, ensuring business requirements are translated into high-quality, scalable technical solutions using ABAP, MDG frameworks, and S/4HANA extensibility.

  • Collaborate with agile product teams to define scalable, resilient, secure, and supportable master data solutions, aligning with enterprise architecture guidelines.

  • Ensure all solutions comply with system architecture standards, performance benchmarks, and best practices for SAP MDG, ABAP, and integration frameworks.

  • Evaluate and implement opportunities leveraging SAP DQM, SAP MDG automation, AI/ML, and Cognitive RPA to enhance data quality and streamline master data integration processes.

  • Partner with architects and project teams to define end-to-end MDG architecture, including data models, governance workflows, SAP MDM tools, integration mechanisms, data quality strategies, security, and operations.

  • Deliver per enterprise methodologies, including technical specifications, design patterns, code reviews, test strategies, and documentation for projects involving master data components.

  • Communicate proactively with leadership regarding project updates, risks, dependencies, and prioritization.

  • Conduct structured knowledge transfer to support teams to ensure platform sustainability, reliability, and long‑term maintainability.

  • Collaborate with source system owners, SMEs, and business stakeholders to identify authoritative sources and targets for master data, ensuring alignment with enterprise governance and integration requirements.

In one of our technical roles, you’ll focus on winning with consumers and the market, while putting safety, mutual respect, and human dignity at the center. To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of total IT experience, with extensive exposure to SAP enterprise landscapes.

  • Minimum 3 end-to-end SAP MDG implementation projects, covering key domains such as BP, Customer, Vendor, Material, and/or EAM.

  • At least 1 end-to-end S/4HANA implementation experience, preferably focusing on master data, BP, CVI, or data migration.

  • Strong techno-functional SAP expertise, including:

  • SAP MDG data models, governance processes, workflows, UI modelling, BRF+, DRF, validations & derivations.

  • Master Data concepts for Business Partner, Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI), and S/4HANA data structures.

  • Data replication to SAP and non-SAP systems, ALE/IDoc, SOAP/OData APIs.

  • Strong ABAP development experience, including:

  • OO-ABAP, enhancements, BAdIs, CDS views.

  • ABAP Debugging, performance tuning, data dictionary, classes/interfaces.

  • MDG-specific coding frameworks (USMD, DQ rules, staging tables, change request processing).

  • Hands-on experience with HANA modeling, SQL scripting, and optimization.

  • Working knowledge of SAP Fiori, Floorplan Manager (FPM), and experience with MDG-EAM is a strong plus.

  • Proven track record in global programs, delivering in complex, multi-vendor, multi-time-zone environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with fluency in English.
