We are actively seeking an experienced and dynamic HR IT Software Quality Assurance professional to join our Corporate Technology and Data team at Kenvue. In this crucial role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and reliability of our HR IT solutions. Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive testing and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless and efficient HR technology experience. You will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance our software quality processes within the HR domain, contributing significantly to the success of our HR technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
• Testing Planning and Execution of comprehensive testing activities, including functional, regression, and system integration testing, to ensure the quality and reliability of HR technology systems.
• Collaboration with HR Teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective test plans.
• Implement and maintain test automation frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Identify and document defects , working collaboratively with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
• Security and Compliance Testing to ensure HR IT solutions adhere to relevant standards and regulations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results for HR technology systems.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in HR IT software quality processes, implementing best practices and optimizing testing methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams , including HR professionals, IT developers, and business analysts, to foster effective communication and alignment of testing activities with HR business objectives.
• Generate and present detailed test reports to stakeholders , highlighting key findings, testing progress, and recommendations for improvement.
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience (5 years (3 year)) in a Software Quality Assurance role, with a focus on testing HR technology solutions like Peoplesoft, Oracle and Workday is preferrable.
• In-depth knowledge of HR technology systems, processes, and best practices.
• Strong expertise in executing comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Experience in conducting security and compliance testing for HR IT systems to ensure adherence to relevant standards and regulations.
• Proficient in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, and test results.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with HR teams, IT developers, and other stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and document defects and work collaboratively with development teams for resolution.
• Demonstrated commitment to driving continuous improvement initiatives in software quality processes.
Desired Qualifications
• Workday HCM expertise.
• Familiarity with a variety of test automation tools commonly used in the industry.
• Advanced degrees or relevant certifications in software quality assurance or HR technology.
• Experience working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) or similar HR technology platforms.
• Experience or certification in applying agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) in testing processes.
• Familiarity with performance testing tools and methodologies for HR technology solutions.
• Experience collaborating with external vendors for testing tools and services.
• Background in business process optimization with a focus on HR technology.
• Prior experience or training in providing training and development sessions for QA professionals.
