Kenvue is recruiting for a Software as a Service (SaaS) Team Lead for its Finance Operations team. This role is part of Finance Operations with the successful candidate being a valuable contributor to the SaaS Accounting team. The SaaS Accounting Team Lead is responsible for supporting Kenvue's accounting processes related to SaaS contracts, expense recognition, and compliance with company policy and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

Process responsibilities:

• Assist in all activities related to SaaS accounting, ensuring accurate recognition of expenses related to SaaS contracts and compliance with relevant accounting standards. This includes contract tracking and amortization schedule maintenance.
• Analyze the financial implications of changes to SaaS contracts, providing insights on accounting treatment and financial impact.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and validate data related to SaaS transactions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation for SaaS accounting processes, including policies and procedures.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes related to SaaS accounting.
• Monitor and analyze SaaS-related financial metrics, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvements.
• Assist during audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to inquiries related to SaaS accounting.
• Recruit, onboard, and train new joiners
• Remain updated with industry trends, changes in accounting rules, and latest technologies
• Liaise with senior Finance leadership within Financial Operations

Compliance

• Assist the team with any audit requests raised from the Legal Entity Controllership team
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ensure strong internal controls are in place to achieve "adequate" internal and external audit ratings

Travel

• Up to 5% international travel

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's level degree or equivalent in accounting or finance is required.

Languages:

• Fluent English, other language skills desirable

Experience and Skills:

Required:

• Bachelor's level degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
• 6-8 years of professional experience in accounting and/or finance
• At least 1 year of Management / Supervisory experience
• Solid US GAAP and IFRS accounting knowledge
• Proficient in ERP systems (SAP preferred), and MS Office (in particular Excel)
• Fluent in English, other language skills desirable. Confident presenting to senior management in English
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels
• Ability to frame clear & concise communication across all relevant stakeholders
• Be open to new ideas, rapid change and embracing new technologies
• Ability to handle ambiguity and fluid situations, demonstrating a pragmatic approach
• Successfully manage a team, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
• Ability to drive process and continuous improvement initiatives
• Experience in a Software as a Service Accounting department
