This position reports into the Chief Architect (Architecture Lead) and is based at our Bangalore, India Office.

The Architecture function is a core function in Kenvue Tech & Data (KTD) that is focused on increasing Kenvue's strategy-to-execution velocity. We provide leadership to all technology product teams, rationalization and modernization programs, while helping accelerate digital transformation initiatives. WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the Product Owner for the portfolio of Enterprise Architecture (EA) products, you will:

  • Create and manage a prioritized backlog of features/fixes for each of the EA products. This will involve anticipating client/user needs, performing product discovery and feedback, understanding market requirements, and having a vision for how each EA product will develop over time.


  • Ensure that each EA product provides measurable value and will solicit feedback from users to ensure the product development teams continue to adjust and prioritize accordingly to maximize value.


  • Ensure that each EA product has a user experience that reflects both a high usability score and Net-Promoter-Score (NPS). Our goal is to build and enhance products that our users can't live without to do their jobs because of the value and ease-of-use


  • Communicate the vision for each of the EA products to the organization, provide education to leverage new features and capabilities as they are released, and review & shape future product roadmaps.


  • Create and manage each of the EA product backlogs, including user stories and acceptance criteria, prioritizing backlog items based on business value and user impact and refining and updating backlog items as needed.


  • Recruit, hire, manage and lead a team of engineers that are responsible for the backlog execution for the EA products. This will require close collaboration, guidance and leadership with these teams.


  • Be responsible for sprint planning and coordination with external teams/resources to ensure the work in the sprint is achievable and will complete on time. This will also require participating in and contributing to the integrated planning and execution checkpoints that occur across teams.


  • Identify the need for new EA products in the portfolio to help close capability gaps and accelerate value - aligned with our new operating model and ways of working


The EA product portfolio includes several products that help manage and drive decision making across Kenvue Tech & Data (KTD) and Business teams. These products provide several key capabilities to the organization, including Application Portfolio Management (APM), App/Tech Lifecycle Mgmt, a reference catalog for all tech/software/SaaS products with investment direction, a platform to communicate IT standards, guidance & design patterns, as well as advanced visualization and analytics of EA and IT data.

REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree (ideally with focus in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data or Engineering)
  • A minimum of 10 years of IT experience with a consistent track record of success operating in a complex, ambiguous, dynamic environment
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of product ownership/mgmt. experience
  • Ability to manage high level of complexity and to be comfortable operating in ambiguity
  • Self-starter: able to identify, initiate, prioritize, and complete assignments with little to no supervision
  • Exceptional analytical thinking, problem solving, learning agility, logical reasoning, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiating skills, and the ability to motivate in a team-oriented, collaborative environment with exceptional service
  • Experience and understanding of architectural frameworks and disciplines
  • Strategic thinking and deep understanding of business strategy, competitive landscape, and knowledge of a broad spectrum of technologies
  • Experience staffing and managing execution teams (employees and/or contractors) with an ability to create strong morale within the team; blends teams when needed; shares wins and successes; develops others and holds them accountable
  • Strong knowledge and use of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, OneNote, Sharepoint)
  • Experience with Jira in managing roadmaps, kanban boards, epics, stories, and more to drive execution with and for product teams
