Job Description:
Kenvue is recruiting for a Global Indirect Tax Operations Associate Analyst for under its Global Indirect tax team. This position is based in Bangalore, India. The role will report to Snr Tax analyst. As a member of our Global Indirect tax team, you will have exclusive access to a network of financial professionals worldwide. Working closely with the Tax teams globally, this role will support the Global indirect Tax team in areas related to end to end Indirect tax compliance matters.

What You Will Do
Process responsibilities:
• Review VAT/GST returns, EC Sales Lists, and prepare/submit Intrastat reports across various global jurisdictions.
• Ensure accurate and timely submission of all indirect tax filings in line with local regulatory requirements including tax payments.
• Reconciliation of e-reporting/e-invoicing with VAT reports.
• Managing the e-VAT reporting in different jurisdictions.
• Support the VAT registration and de-registration processes in new and existing markets.
• Answer queries from external auditors.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Finance, Legal) to resolve VAT-related queries.
• Assist in responding to inquiries from tax authorities and support during VAT audits.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of compliance processes (including SOP's) and controls.
• Stay current on changes to VAT legislation and help assess impacts to the business.
• Support process improvement initiatives, including automation and systems upgrades.
• Work closely with the external service providers in order to ensure a timely filing of the returns.
• Facilitate the preparation of estimated payments and ensure the accurate, timely filing of all tax payment forms for various jurisdictions worldwide.
• Prepare the monthly VAT balance account reconciliations for different jurisdictions.
• Support VAT/GST/Sales tax audits globally where needed.
• Support the vision, strategy, and delivery of the Tax processes for Kenvue globally. Ensure alignment with global standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the Global Indirect tax newsletter.
• Other ad hoc tasks assigned by other Indirect tax team members.
• Analyze & manage VAT rates globally for Kenvue products.
Travel
• Up to 5% international travel
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor/Master level degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or related field
• A minimum of 1-2 year(s) experience finance and accounting. Experience with Indirect tax preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools and have an intermediate to advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, other language skills desirable
• Prior experience and strong knowledge of SAP is desired
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and transactional data.
• Critical thinking, attention for detail and discipline.
Desired Qualifications
• Experience working with a co-source provider
• Experience in a Shared Service Centre of a multinational corporation
• Successfully manage multiple priorities, be very organized and work efficiently to tight deadlines
• Candidates may be asked to work shifts to align with global assignments in Americas / EMEA / APAC
• Participate in other Regional/Global/Cross functional duties as assigned
• Desire to pursue CPA, CMA, MBA and/or other financial certifications
