What You Will Do

We are seeking a visionary and results-driven professional to lead Data Quality and Governance initiatives within Supply Chain Operations. This strategic role will ensure that data is treated as a critical enterprise asset, enabling informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and business growth. The Manager will define and implement a robust data governance framework, drive data quality improvements, and align data strategies with the overarching supply chain and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership:

a. Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for data quality and governance, aligning with supply chain objectives and enterprise data strategies.

b. Drive initiatives to position the organization as a leader in leveraging high-quality data to gain competitive advantage in supply chain operations.

c. Ensure alignment between data management practices and the organization's digital transformation and automation goals.

2. Data Quality Management:

a. Develop and implement data quality standards, metrics, and continuous improvement processes.

b. Proactively identify data quality gaps and partner with stakeholders to implement sustainable solutions.

c. Monitor data quality performance and provide regular reporting to leadership to demonstrate the impact of initiatives.

3. Data Governance Framework:

a. Establish a scalable data governance framework to support operational, analytical, and compliance needs.

b. Define data stewardship roles and responsibilities across supply chain functions to ensure accountability and ownership.

c. Promote a data governance culture by embedding best practices into operational workflows and decision-making processes.

4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:

a. Partner with supply chain, IT, and business leaders to understand strategic data needs and challenges.

b. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights and recommendations on leveraging data for strategic decision-making.

c. Drive cross-functional collaboration to establish data governance priorities and secure organizational buy-in.

5. Technology and Tools:

a. Lead the evaluation and adoption of advanced data governance and quality management tools.

b. Support the deployment of analytics and visualization platforms to enable real-time, data-driven insights for supply chain optimization.

c. Ensure data integrity during the integration of new systems, platforms, and technologies.

6. Compliance and Risk Management:

a. Ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational policies related to data privacy, security, and governance.

b. Develop risk management strategies to mitigate data-related risks in supply chain operations.

c. Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the organization stays ahead in data governance practices.

7. People Management:

a. Set Goals and KPIs: Align individual and team objectives with organizational digital transformation goals.

b. Monitor Progress & Provide feedback. Take part in the performance assessment and feedback of the Digital Solution Team.

c. Resource and Capacity Management- Assign tasks based on team capacity and individual expertise and optimize resources.

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field (master's degree preferred).

• 10-13 years of progressive experience in data quality, data governance, or supply chain data management roles (Added Advantage)

• Proven track record in leading data-driven transformation initiatives within supply chain or operational domains.

• Expertise in developing and implementing enterprise data governance frameworks and quality standards.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).

• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management capabilities .

• Should have global exposure working with multiple stakeholders.

Exposure to SAP ECC, One S/4 Hana, KDE (Key Data Elements), Colibra / Informatica, Material Master (MM), Master/ Customer Master

Bachelor's degree in data management, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
