What you will do

As Synchronized Planning Digital Transformation Program Sr. Manager, you will lead critical initiatives aimed at digitally transforming our supply chain planning capabilities. This role is pivotal in driving digital and data-driven improvements across inventory management, lead time optimization, Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and the implementation/integration of key planning systems including SAP S/4HANA, Anaplan, and OMP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale digital transformation programs within the supply chain planning function.
  • Lead a team of project managers, providing oversight and guidance, ensuring execution excellence
  • Manage cross-functional project teams, including internal resources, external consultants, and system integrators.
  • Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and development teams to deliver impactful digital solutions
  • Define program scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Manage cross-project dependencies, identify and mitigate program risks and issues, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success and the impact of transformations on supply chain performance.
  • Communicate program progress, challenges, and outcomes effectively to senior leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive the integration of data and digital technologies into planning processes, focusing on automation, advanced analytics, and improved visibility.
  • Provides strategic guidance, resolves escalations, and aligns project priorities.
  • Play a hands-on role as a project manager where needed in the program
  • Ensure execution excellence across all relevant areas in all projects within the program
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making within the team

What We Are Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, or a related field.

• At least 10-12 years of experience managing complex, multi-year digital projects and programs

• At least 7-10 years of experience managing data and digital initiatives within a supply chain planning function

• At least one industry-recognized project / program management certification (e.g., PMP, Prince 2, PMI-ACP, CSM, PSM, SAFe SA, etc.)

• Demonstrated business experience and knowledge of supply chain plan function, as well as in-depth familiarity with Plan data, including data sources and attributes, KPIs, and related analytics

• In-depth knowledge and practical experience with Integrated Business Planning (IBP) processes and methodologies.

• Strong understanding of inventory management strategies and lead time optimization techniques.

• Excellent project/program management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure.

• Experience with agile project management methodologies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand business and technical functions

• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a matrixed organization.

• Highly proactive and motivated professional with a strong willingness to think outside of the box.

Desired Qualifications

• Masters degree or PhD in a relevant field

• In-depth understanding of the digital landscape and digital transformation concepts

• Hands-on program management experience with implementations or significant upgrades of major ERP and planning systems, including SAP S/4HANA.

• Specific experience managing projects involving advanced planning systems like Anaplan and/or OMP

• Experience with other supply chain planning software solutions.

• Understanding of cloud-based planning solutions.

• Prior experience leading a diverse and geographically dispersed team

• Strong CPG industry knowledge and business acumen

• Experience working in a global, complex organization spanning multiple business functions.
