What you will do

The Architect Dev Lead (DAM/MRM) is responsible for managing daily IT development operations through subordinates, developing and implementing IT development standards, guidelines, technology and procedures, and providing technical leadership and resource support to projects within Aprimo platform:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of architectural solutions for DAM/MRM systems

• Manage a team of developers and ensure timely delivery of projects

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members

• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the field of DAM/MRM and other MarTech platforms.

• Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for architecture and development

• Lead and manage the IT development team to ensure the successful delivery of projects in alignment with the company's business plans and objectives.

• Provide expert guidance on MRM and the Aprimo platform and thought leadership in the development of cross-functional enterprise-wide strategies for data and analytics, including modern architecture approaches that encourage data exchanges with customers to accelerate business connectivity and partner collaboration.

• Develop and implement IT development standards, guidelines, technology and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate those requirements into IT development project plans, and execute on those plans to provide new or improved functionality.

• Provide technical leadership and resource support to project teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

• Ensure that new software and solution integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.

• Prepare accurate forecast data and conduct ongoing management of assigned budget with the goal of optimal use of business resources.

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of related experience in IT development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and manage a team of IT professionals.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders, management, and project teams.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate proposals and third-party products and technologies to identify potential problem areas and make appropriate recommendations.

• Experience in developing and implementing IT development standards, guidelines, technology, and procedures to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems.

• Experience in gathering requirements, translating those requirements into IT development project plans, and executing on those plans to provide new or improved functionality.

Desired Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in developing and implementing DAM/MRM systems

• Strong leadership and management skills

• Expertise in architecture and design patterns

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and API connections.

• Experience with cloud-based technologies such as AWS or Azure

• Experience with SaaS DAM/MRM platforms such as Aprimo is highly desirable.

• Experience in managing communication and providing updates to all management, business sponsors, and relevant groups on product status or other development information.

• Experience in ensuring that new software and solution integration into company systems meets functional requirements, system compliance, and interface specifications.

• Experience in preparing accurate forecast data and conducting ongoing management of assigned budget with the goal of optimal use of business resources.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
