What will you do?- Define together with the Opportunity Leader the strategy for the Qualified Project Offer.
- Create, lead and energize a cross functional bidding team (Deputy Tender Engineers, Technical Support, Contract managers, Purchasers, Financial controllers, Logistics experts and other Subject Matter Experts) towards defining and drafting a complete techno-commercial competitive offer.
- Give the main drivers of the proposal = Key Success Factors (ex quality, price, deadline, special customer requests...) to the bidding team.
- Coordinate the internal communication and follow up to ensure offers are complete on schedule, as per SE's guidelines and in line with the bidding strategy.
- Identify and Mitigate project risks, in coordination with Subject Matter Experts and Risk Managers.
- Prepare a detailed financial and commercial analysis of project for internal approvals.
- Present the offer analysis to regional and corporate management to obtain organizational approval (S2 stage gate).
- Lead the follow up, clarifications and negotiations with internal and external suppliers.
- Support the Sales Manager/Opportunity Leader during negotiations of the project's contractual, commercial, financial aspect with the customer.
- On successful bids, in collaboration with Sales Leader, leads handover to the Execution Team and contribute to build the project management plan and organize a successful customer kickoff.
- On un-successful bids, work with internal stakeholders to conduct a meaningful Post-Mortem/ lessons learned analysis and communicate it internally.
- Observe the application of the Services Selling Governance rules and the Tendering Process in place.
What qualifications will make you successful for this role?- Electrical, Mechanical and Industrial engineering degrees preferred
Proven working experience, including Project, Commercial or Sales Manager. - Technical experience in Power Distribution Equipment, Energy and UPS Systems would be a strong asset.
- Entrepreneurial, engaged and highly motivated individual with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Leadership and teamwork, particularly within a multicultural environment.
Highly structured, process oriented with excellent planning abilities. - Is encouraged and motivated to tackling complex projects, challenging customers and uncertain environments
- Understanding of project finance and contractual law is a strong asset.
