Kenvue is currently recruiting for: Channel Development Manager . This position reports into Head of Customer & Channel Development and is based at Jakarta head Office.

What You Will Do
Channel Development Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to expand the company's distribution network, increase market share, and maximize sales revenue in the respective channel. The role involves driving in-store excellence, identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with key partners, and optimizing existing channels to boost growth and profitability. representing Kenvue and ensuring the satisfaction of our key customers. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Channel Strategy Development:
• Develop and implement channel strategies to achieve sales targets and market growth in the respective Channel.
• Identify potential channel partners and assess their capabilities, market presence, and alignment with company goals.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create channel-specific plans that drive revenue and enhance brand presence.
2. Channel Partner Management:
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, including key account, retailers, and e-commerce platforms.
• Conduct regular business reviews with partners to monitor performance, address challenges, and identify opportunities for growth.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of trade to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
3. In-Store Excellence:
• Develop strategies to enhance in-store execution and ensure the brand is well-represented across all retail locations.
• Work closely with partners to optimize product placement, shelf space, and visual merchandising for maximum impact.
• Implement in-store promotional programs, training sessions for retail staff, and ensure consistent availability of products.
• Monitor in-store compliance with brand guidelines, pricing standards, and promotional displays, addressing any deviations promptly.
• Collect and analyze feedback on in-store conditions, competitor activity, and customer behavior to continuously improve retail execution.
4. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
• Analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for channel expansion.
• Use data-driven insights to optimize channel performance and ensure the right mix of partners in various regions.
• Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends to proactively adapt strategies.
5. Sales and Revenue Growth:
• Develop sales forecasts and set channel-specific targets in collaboration with the sales team.
• Monitor sales performance, provide guidance to partners, and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Drive initiatives to increase product availability and visibility across all channels, including in-store and online.
6. Product Launches and Promotions:
• Coordinate with marketing teams to support product launches, promotional activities, and merchandising programs in the channels.
• Ensure partners are equipped with the necessary product information, training, and marketing materials.
• Track the effectiveness of promotional campaigns and make recommendations for future improvements.
7. Compliance and Brand Standards:
• Ensure all activities in respective channel are comply with company policies, brand guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor partners' adherence to brand standards and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure in-store presentation aligns with company expectations.
\ What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in channel management, sales, or business development, preferably in the health and beauty industry.
• Strong understanding of distribution channels, retail dynamics, and e-commerce in the health and beauty sector.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving channel growth.
• Experience in driving in-store execution and working with retail partners to ensure high standards of brand representation.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to make informed decisions.
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with channel partners and visit retail locations.
Preferred Skills:
• Experience with digital marketing and e-commerce strategies.
• Familiarity with CRM and sales management tools.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
This role is vital in driving the growth of the spike channel by building a robust distribution network, ensuring in-store excellence, and making sure that products are effectively positioned to reach the right markets.
