Your Job

Ensure a proper execution on production planning and purchasing areas by bring strategy, coaching & being an escalation point. Lead the team on a best practices culture, applying the PBM principles. Adopt a continuous improvement methodology in the area sharing knowledge, tools & experience.

Our Team

Ensure Production Planning & Purchasing execution, demand (Backlog) execution/analysis, Material coverage for CTB, MRP exception messages for both Purchasing and planning, revenue and production projections & the correct documentation of their processes/areas.

What you Will do
  • Lead production planning and purchasing team by bringing tools, couching, feedback and proper and in time support. Standardization and documentation of the processes.
  • Support operations team bringing visibility, feedback & projections of the demand and customer behavior thought the follow up of the attainment plan and the correct administration of the manufacturing orders.
  • Lead and direct the initiatives to implement Sourcing and purchasing strategies in coordination with Purchasing supervisor and /or Sourcing manager.
  • Measure & leveling the workload through the team with the different customer/product/sub ASSY/ Suppliers / Purchasing methods, based on the skills, experience & knowledge of the team. If necessary, be able to justify the additional resources.
  • Be the leader of the execution of the GSOP and maintain the alignment with Network and Inventory planners from the Business Units.
  • Lead strategies to reduce inventories, slow and excess material thought disciplined execution in purchasing and planning always in alignment of the Network and Inventory planners.
  • Providing feedback, recommendations and/or Point of view to Network and Inventory planners during their strategies revisions.
  • Point of contact for internal & external escalations. (BU/Div, Customer, Suppliers, Service providers, Others)

Who you are
  • Bachelors' Degree
  • Desired/ Master's degree in Administration.
  • Planning or/ and Purchasing APICS certifications.
  • High ERP usage level, process. (SAP is a plus)
  • 10 years of experience (At least 5 years managing people).

What Will put you ahead

• Proven work experience on demand management, planning / purchasing areas, and leading teams. (SMT and Back-end experience is required)
  • Proven ability to use problem solving such as 5 whys, Ishikawa, PDCA, Kaizen methodologies and lean manufacturing.
  • High Communications skills.
  • Good understanding of the supply chain & ERP
  • High skill to perform with a changing business/environment.
  • Focused on results.
  • High ability on teamwork and leading.
  • Proven ability on different planning environment (MTS, MTO, MTF, etc).
  • Experience on operations SMT, Back End, manual ASSY, automated process.
  • ECNs, PCNs, NPIs, Product Eng, PM experience
