Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated Payroll and HR Service Agent to support the delivery of end-to-end payroll services across the US, UK, and Canada, while also providing top-tier HR service across multiple countries. This role involves collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure accurate payroll processing and effective resolution of HR inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

Payroll Responsibilities:

  • Execute daily tasks such as data entry, corrections, mass uploads, and payroll reversals/reissues in collaboration with Central Payroll Team.
  • Ensure compliance with SOX controls and local regulations.
  • Review, analyze, and reconcile payroll-related data according to established timelines and procedures.
  • Verify timekeeping records and address discrepancies with managers and employees.
  • Calculate and run on-cycle and off-cycle payrolls, including retroactive salary adjustments.
  • Prepare benefits-related reports for vendor uploads and ensure timely resolution of employee inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for GL posting, including statutory and benefits information.
  • Audit and validate payroll transactions for accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop ad-hoc financial and operational reports as requested by Finance and HR.

HR Service Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the first line of support for HR-related inquiries from employees, managers, and HR partners.
  • Handle administrative queries professionally and courteously across all communication channels (email, phone, chat).
  • Ensure services are delivered within defined SLAs/KPIs and drive continuous improvement in operations.
  • Escalate issues as necessary and collaborate with various HR teams to resolve them.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to enhance the overall employee experience.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with trust and credibility.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance, IT, or related field.
  • Experience: 1-2 years in payroll and HR service operations, preferably in a multi-national environment.
  • Workday experience is strongly preferred.
  • Service Now experience is a plus.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel experience preferred, automation experience as a plus
  • Strong understanding of payroll processing, gross to net calculations, and HR & Benefits policies.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and work effectively and collaboratively with various business partnerships, regions, and cultures, and to promote effective collaboration between them.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills, with a demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with highly sensitive information in a confidential manner, projecting trust & credibility with leaders & employees.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

Additional Preferences:

  • Experience in a remotely managed team and ability to work independently.
