Wabash Center, Inc. is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP)-$5,000 Sign-On Bonus for new Wabash Center employees in Lafayette, IN. This is a full-time position.

Weekend scheduling options include: Every SaturdayEvery SundayEvery other Saturday and Sunday Weekend shifts are 12-hour shifts and are required for Supported Living positions. Overnight Availability Employees working overnight shifts must also meet weekend scheduling requirements. Eligible options include: Every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday)Every Friday OvernightEvery Saturday (Day, Evening or, Overnight) Working only Sunday overnight does not satisfy the weekend availability requirement. What You'll Do Support Individuals in Daily Living Assist with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)Support individuals in Supported Living homes and Day Services programsAssist with meal preparation, household tasks, and community participationHelp individuals achieve personal goals and increase independence Build Skills & Promote Independence Teach life skills such as cooking, budgeting, household management, and community living skillsEncourage self-advocacy, personal growth, and decision-makingPromote meaningful participation in community activities and relationships Health & Safety Support Administer medications and monitor health-related needsFollow individual support plans and agency proceduresMaintain a safe and supportive environment Transportation & Community Access Provide transportation to appointments, employment opportunities, recreational activities, and community eventsSupport individuals in developing greater community connections and independence
