Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) Urgent Dental Center & Family Dentistry (UDC) is growing, and we are looking for an experienced and motivated Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) to join our team! What You'll Do As an EFDA, you will play an important role in both patient care and clinical flow. Responsibilities may include: Assisting dentists during a variety of dental procedures Performing expanded functions in accordance with state certification and regulations Placing and finishing restorations as permitted Taking digital X-rays and intraoral images Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining efficient clinical flow Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection control standards Assisting with same-day and comprehensive dental treatment Providing excellent patient education and support Helping maintain a positive, team-oriented office environment Supporting a fast-paced schedule while ensuring quality patient care What We're Looking For Current EFDA certification Current dental assisting credentials as required by the state X-ray certification Previous dental assisting experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment A positive attitude and strong teamwork mindset Dependability and excellent attention to detail A commitment to providing exceptional patient care Why Join UDC?
