SUMMARY OF POSITION FUNCTIONS:

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) assists in providing quality client care under the supervision of the registered occupational therapist and is responsible for the implementation of standards of care for occupational therapy services and for adherence to all conditions and modalities outlined within the plan of care. The certified occupational therapy assistant performs only those services planned, delegated, and supervised by the registered occupational therapist.
