Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the execution of the organization's talent assessment strategy, ensuring alignment with hiring, internal mobility, and succession planning priorities.
- Design, implement, and continuously improve assessment frameworks, tools, and processes to enhance hiring quality and efficiency.
- Drive the modernization of assessment practices through automation, analytics, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions.
- Serve as a senior subject matter expert in talent assessment, advising HR and business leaders on strategy and best practices.
- Oversee the end-to-end delivery of assessment programs to ensure consistency, scalability, and operational effectiveness.
- Establish performance metrics and reporting mechanisms to evaluate assessment effectiveness and support data-driven decisions.
- Manage assessment-related budgets, vendor partnerships, and resource allocation to ensure fiscal responsibility and effective program delivery.
- Develop and execute operational plans that support enterprise hiring and talent initiatives.
- Ensure assessment practices comply with applicable U.S. employment laws and regulations, including EEOC, OFCCP, and ADA requirements.
- Lead job analysis and validation strategies to maintain legally defensible and compliant selection processes.
- Identify and mitigate legal, compliance, and operational risks associated with assessment programs.
- Lead, develop, and manage a team of experienced professionals responsible for assessment design, implementation, and operations.
- Set team priorities, performance expectations, and development plans to build organizational capability in assessment and selection.
- Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders to address complex talent challenges and implement scalable solutions.
- Lead cross-functional and change-management initiatives related to new assessment tools, processes, and technologies.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study and 7+ years of relevant professional experience required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

- 7+ years of relevant professional experience in talent assessment, selection, or related HR functions.

- Experience designing, implementing, and managing talent assessment programs at scale.

- Proven experience evaluating assessment vendors, leading RFPs, and managing external partners.

- Working knowledge of U.S. employment laws related to assessment and selection (EEOC, OFCCP, ADA).

- Ability to work independently and lead assessment initiatives with minimal day-to-day oversight.

- Experience partnering with HR, Talent Acquisition, and business leaders on complex talent needs.

- Demonstrated people leadership or oversight of assessment programs or operations.

Highly Preferred Qualifications

- Advanced experience or formal training in Industrial-Organizational Psychology, including job analysis and validation.

- Experience supporting assessment programs in a regulated or government-contracting environment.

- Exposure to AI-enabled or technology-driven assessment tools and emerging assessment practices.

- Strong analytical skills, including use of data and metrics to evaluate assessment effectiveness.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver creative, flexible, and customer-focused solutions.

- Experience leading change management related to new tools, processes, or technologies.
