Training Coordinator
Indianapolis, IN, United States | req27669 First Shift; Monday - Friday 7: 00AM - 3: 30PM, Starting May 2026 12-Hour Days
What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will deliver training for new hires and existing employees, including cross-training on Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), Job Instructions (JIs), Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other technical aspects of plant operations
  • You will ensure employees understand and follow safety requirements, operational procedures, and company policies while performing their assigned work
  • You will assess employee proficiency through structured evaluations to confirm employees are properly trained and capable of performing required tasks safely and effectively
  • You will complete and submit required training documentation, including signed training checklists and proficiency assessments, to the L& D Specialist and L& D Manager
  • You will partner with Training Leads and L& D leadership to identify training needs, support gap analysis, and determine appropriate training plans for new hires and existing employees
  • You will support additional training initiatives and operational training tasks assigned by the L& D Manager or Training Lead based on evolving business needs

What makes you great

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or technical degree preferred.
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, operations, technical training, or workforce development.
  • Experience training employees on operational procedures, safety standards, or technical processes.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Ability to evaluate employee performance and document training progress accurately.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail when managing training documentation and records.
