What you will enjoy doing*

• You will support the Plant Quality Manager ("PQM") in the successful completion of improvement projects, internal and external audits
• In this position, you will assist the PQM in the preparation for successful AS9100, Nadcap and customer audits
• You will utilize statistical analysis tools or software to analyze quality data and determine areas for improvement
• You will support effective root cause and corrective action plans in a timely manner to meet the organizations and customers' requirements
• This position will support the Quality requirements when the Plant Quality Manager is not available and perform other essential job functions as assigned
• You will perform and develop measurement methods, testing methods and completes measurements/tests with written reports

What makes you great

• You must have a BS/BA and 0 - 3 years of engineering/quality experience or 10+ years of direct vapor deposition/plating/thermal coatings related experience with 2+ years of direct AS9100 Quality system related experience
• You must be able to communicate professionally with internal and external customers and suppliers, in a collaborative problem-solving team environment
• To be successful in this position, you must be able to combine theoretical training with practical experience in a "hands-on" environment, have effective project management skills with the ability to complete multiple projects independently and be able to work closely with Quality / Engineering / Operations on assigned tasks
• You will need to have AS9100 Quality Management Systems and internal auditing experience and experience with Microsoft Office Suite, as well as other computer proficiency
• In this role, you must support the Quality team when the Plant Quality Manager is not available and may be required to work extended hours and/or weekend day(s)
• You must be able to utilize statistical analysis tools or software to analyze quality data, and Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred
