Operations Supervisor
Indianapolis, IN, United States | req27921 12-hour shift, days: 07: 00am - 07: 30pm
What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will lead and supervise daily plant operations, providing direction and support to frontline team leads and employees to ensure production goals, quality standards, and operational targets are achieved
  • You will reinforce and enforce safety expectations by ensuring employees follow all safety procedures, operational standards, and company policies while performing their work
  • You will monitor operational performance, address production issues, and collaborate with leadership and support teams to resolve challenges and maintain efficient operations
  • You will coach, mentor, and develop employees by reinforcing training expectations, addressing performance concerns, and supporting workforce capability
  • You will communicate operational priorities, expectations, and updates to employees while maintaining strong coordination with plant leadership and cross-functional teams
  • You will support additional operational initiatives, improvement efforts, and leadership responsibilities as assigned based on evolving business needs

What makes you great

  • You have a High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree in operations, engineering, business, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory experience leading frontline employees in a manufacturing, production, or operational environment with demonstrated accountability for safety, quality, and performance outcomes
  • Five (5) or more years of experience in manufacturing, industrial operations, or production environments including exposure to operations, production flow, or process improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and manage performance in a fast-paced environment
  • You have strong understanding of workplace safety expectations and operational procedures in industrial environments
  • Strong communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work effectively with leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in standard business systems and tools, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft
  • Teams, with the ability to track and communicate operational information
  • Ability and willingness to support 24/7 operations, including schedule flexibility as business needs require
