What you will enjoy doing*

• You will manage final inspectors' workflow focusing on daily customer commits and the inspection process, WIP moves, packing and works to improve the effectiveness.
• Further, you will assist the Plant Quality Manager with overtime, attendance and daily changes in staffing inspection areas.
• In this position you will provide training (safety, quality, process, etc.) as needed and document the training with records.
• You will perform inspections, as well as in-process and final inspections of parts in accordance with applicable Engineering criteria, documents, drawings and workmanship standards, as needed to meeting customer commits.
• In this position, you will perform training for new and current inspectors in accordance with applicable Engineering criteria, work/job instructions, quality documents, drawings and workmanship standards.
• Also, you will coordinate calibration needs for inspection devices within work scope of inspection.

What makes you great

• You will need a High School Diploma and 7+ years of experience, including 3 years of inspection experience.
• Further, you will need knowledge of ISO9001 & AS9100 Quality management systems, and use of common inspection measuring devices, such as surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, radius gages, bore gauges, and dial indictors.
• For this position, you must have the ability to discern colors with Vision Acuity of 20/20 (Correction allowed).
• You will need appropriate mathematical and analytical skills to determine acceptability of product(s) based on established criteria.
• You must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite of tools, specifically Word, Excel, Power Point.
• Also, you must be able to successfully pass the essential job function physical requirements.
