Maintenance Team Lead

What you will enjoy doing*

• In this role you will lead and maintain the overall activities of the production area during the shift.
• You will also ensure production plan is followed and assist with training and continuous improvement.
• Prepare post shift turnover report for oncoming shift and lead shift start up meetings is part of your role.
• Function as a working Team Leader filling voids on the production team should they occur.
• You will assist with the effective training and continual development of Maintenance Technicians.
• Ongoing development of standardized work methods/processes, ensure that standardized work is followed.
• Also you will drive performance objectives in the areas of delivery, cost, quality, and safety, and assist team members in consistently achieving their specific goal.
• In addition you will be responsible for equipment rebuilds.
• You will troubleshoot, repair, install, modify and maintain mechanical equipment & systems.
• Also, you will support and participate in current and new safety initiatives/policies business needs.
• You will operate and/or oversee the operation of technical processes and equipment.
• Monitor equipment and processes and ensure recording of process parameters.
• To maintain and updates control documents
• You will perform preventive maintenance on equipment and plant systems

What makes you great

• High School Diploma / GED required
• Preferred to have all of the above requirements plus 7-years maintenance/manufacturing experience with a minimum of 3-years in maintenance or an associate's degree in a related technical field and 4-years of work history with 2-years of manufacturing/maintenance experience
• Welding experience is preferred
• You must have experience reading and understanding electrical schematics, and mechanical blueprints
• Effective oral/written communication skills
• Basic computer skills in EAM and Microsoft Outlook are necessary for this role
• Further, you must be able to work overtime and/or weekends as needed
• Must be able to successfully pass the essential job function physical requirements
