What you will enjoy doing*

  • You will serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers by responding to questions related to policies, payroll, benefits, timekeeping, and general HR matters, ensuring timely and accurate guidance
  • You will administer the attendance policy by tracking occurrences, maintaining accurate documentation, issuing documented coaching and corrective actions, and ensuring consistent application of policy across departments
  • You will review and reconcile timecard discrepancies and pay-related concerns in partnership with Payroll and department leaders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely resolution
  • You will investigate routine employee relations concerns, provide policy interpretation, support performance and conduct documentation, and escalate complex or high-risk matters to HR leadership as appropriate
  • You will coordinate new hire orientation and onboarding processes, partnering with managers to ensure a smooth integration experience and completion of required documentation and compliance steps
  • You will maintain accurate HR records, support leave tracking and compliance reporting, assist with audits, and contribute to additional HR-related tasks, projects, and operational initiatives as business needs evolve

What makes you great

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 2-4 years of progressive Human Resources experience in an operational or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience administering attendance policies, corrective action processes, and payroll/timekeeping systems.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance practices.
  • Strong communication, documentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) and Microsoft Office; multi-site experience preferred.
