What you will enjoy doing*

  • This role will lead and manage a portion of the production team in a specific product line(s)
  • You will provide leadership and direction through daily shop floor meetings, effective communication, and develop and efficient team that executes production requirements, changes, customer needs and process improvements
  • This role will develop cell operational metrics for each product line and track performance
  • You must effectively communicate business needs and priorities across the organization to complete projects and tasks
  • As a leader, you will be heavily involved in the life cycle of your team including onboarding, scheduling vacations, maintaining attendance records, and effectively performance managing your team
  • You will be pivotal in establishing customer work schedules taking into account customer requirements, resources and other priorities to meet customer needs and production goals

What makes you great

  • The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma or GED, while a bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline is preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in operations, process improvement or training and implementation is a must
  • Previous leadership experience is highly desirable
  • Excellent organizational, critical thinking, communication skills and computer proficiency is required
