Description:
Overall Responsibilities: A process engineer designs, optimizes, and operates industrial processes to improve efficiency and quality. They work in many industries, including manufacturing, food production, and petrochemicals.
RESPONSIBILITIES: - Analyze and evaluate : Assess existing processes to identify bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement : Create new processes and strategies, including safety procedures.
- Monitor and adjust : Use data to adjust variables like temperature, machine speed, and material input.
- Ensure compliance : Comply with environmental regulations and incorporate green engineering principles.
- Troubleshoot : Identify and resolve issues and conflicts
- Communicate : Articulate technical information to stakeholders, including non-technical team members
Characteristics and skills: - Proven experience in automotive aftermarket, specifically WD aftermarket and E-commerce
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Highly motivated with winning and positive attitude
- Ability to operate related office equipment, such as computers and copiers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Educational and other requirements: - bachelor's degree in engineering
- Experience with process simulations
- Knowledge of process engineering software packages, such as CAD or AutoCAD
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Good practical experience with CAD or AutoCAD
- Must be an initiative-taker capable of working both independently, as well as part of a team.
- A true "collaborative" leader that embraces the idea that he/she is the "go-to" person.
