The Operations manager- Cold Chain will direct all aspects of the operation for the Mooresville operation. Provide leadership to ensure magnificent execution of, the operations team as it relates to inbound, outbound, inventory and all Distribution operations.

Ensure compliance with GxP/FDA/ISO requirements and be a key player to optimize and coordinate findings from other Deliver and Make sites as appropriate. Work with all of the vital organizations (Engineering, Facilities, EHS& S, Planning, Suppliers, GDEx, as well as others) to provide day to day mentorship and longer-term strategic direction to the site within the scope of this role. Fosters and encourages inclusiveness and diversity.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of the hiring, training, motivation, and development of cold chain operations team. Mentor, challenge, and develop employees. Implement appropriate practices, structure and norms for the team.
• Lead all aspects of budget, spend and cost improvement initiatives.
• Deliver on all target Metrics and KPIs
• Partner E2E to drive operational efficiency and outstanding customer experience.
• Partner with J& J to plan and provide future capacity and process improvements in support of new products and the company’s strategic plan.
• Perform other work-related duties as assigned by site management team.

Qualifications

Education: A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent University degree required; focused degree in Supply Chain or equivalent field is preferred.

Required:

• A minimum of six (6) years of relevant professional work experience.
• Supply Chain experience
• Project Management experience; control of information flows, manage/control budgets and follow-up planning
• Use of Good Manufacturing/ Distribution principles (GMP) principles
• Knowledge of qualification and validation approaches
• Capable to lead and motivate people, and coach them to develop and grow
• Presentation and well-developed communications skills

Preferred:

• Distribution process and experience with temperature controlled products
• Knowledge of FPX methodology
• FPX, Six Sigma, Lean training
• Knowledge of compliance, safety regulations, validation experience

Other:

• This position may require up to 15% of travel both internationally and domestically
