Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Facilities Engineer to be located in Warsaw, IN.

The Facilities Engineer, conduct and directs engineering projects or studies, including complete projects requiring advanced knowledge of a specialized field. Applies comprehensive and diverse knowledge of engineering principles and practices within broad assignment areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carries out engineering status updates and adherence to key deadlines, relative to engineering layouts, project installation, and operational customer-specific requirements.
  • Ensures preventive maintenance of building utilities and machinery, manufacturing systems, and mechanical and electromechanical equipment and provides laboratory support.
  • Creates and drives priorities and timelines for project completion while working to control costs and expenses and manage budgets.
  • Presents finalized procedures in defined formats for document control and diligently verifies files and records for historical purposes.
  • Plans, budgets and schedules facility modifications, including estimates on equipment, labor, materials and other related costs.
  • Provides criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes.
  • Be able to conduct incident investigations and document outcomes.
  • Responsible for communicating business-related issues to stakeholders
  • For those who supervise or manage staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety, and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local, and Company regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A minimum of a university/bachelor's degree is required. Focus degree in Engineering is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a GMP product manufacturing plant environment, working with general maintenance of machinery, equipment, facilities, buildings, and grounds.
  • Develops projects for facilities in optimum conditions
  • Ensure the monitoring of the facilities' environment controls throughout the facilities' maintenance system.
  • Must have verbal and written communication skills, project management, problem-solving, business/financial budget planning, presentation skills, people leadership, and talent development.
