Glenmark Construction Co Inc is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our professional construction team. As a key part of our finish crew, you will be responsible for preparing drywall surfaces for painting and final inspection. This position requires a skilled craftsman who can deliver exceptional results with taping, mudding, sanding, and finishing techniques. Key Responsibilities

• Apply joint compound to walls and ceilings using trowels, taping knives, or finishing tools

• Tape seams and corners, then sand surfaces to a smooth finish

• Repair cracks, holes, and imperfections in drywall surfaces

• Match and blend textures to existing finishes as needed

• Coordinate with framing and drywall hanging teams for seamless handoffs

• Follow blueprints, design plans, and supervisor instructions

• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace

• Meet all safety regulations and Glenmark construction standards

• Use and maintain proper PPE and safety equipment at all times

• Participate in training sessions and contribute to a culture of safety and teamwork

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a commercial drywall finisher in metal stud construction environments

• Expertise in taping, mudding, sanding, and various drywall textures

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to deliver smooth, paint-ready finishes

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Punctual, professional, and committed to jobsite cleanliness and safety

• Must possess or be willing to obtain necessary safety certifications (OSHA training preferred)

• Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and lifts as needed

• Reliable transportation to job sites

Schedule

• Full-Time

• Monday to Friday – 8-hour shifts

• Occasional overtime based on project demands

On-site at commercial project locations in Indianapolis and surrounding areas
