GEMCO Constructors is hiring a National Electrical Foreman in Carmel, IN. This is a full-time position.

Position Summary Lead field crews of journeymen and apprentices on industrial electrical projects across the Carolinas. Youll plan work, drive productivity, enforce safety and quality, coordinate materials/equipment, and ensure installations meet drawings, specifications, codes, and schedules. This job requires travel across the United States. Typical rotation is 17 days out in the field and 4 days at home. Key Responsibilities Organize, coordinate, and supervise daily crew activities; assign tasks by skill and training.Read/interpret plans, specs, and one-lines; lay out work, verify dimensions, and resolve field clashes.Oversee material takeoffs, orders, deliveries, and tool/equipment readiness.Enforce safety policies (JHAs, permits, LOTO, PPE); lead toolbox talks and corrective actions.Monitor productivity, track units, and maintain daily reports, time sheets, and progress documentation.Inspect work for code compliance and quality; support testing, start-up, and commissioning.Interface with GC, owners, other trades, and inspectors; escalate risks and propose solutions.Train and mentor apprentices; model professional conduct and craftsmanship. Requirements 3 - 5 + years previous experience working as a foreman, preferred but not requiredMust have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Must pass a background check and drug screening. Physical & Work Conditions Stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the day; lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders; work from lifts/scaffolds; work at heights and in confined spaces; indoor/outdoor industrial environments in varying weather.
