Team Leader

Premier automotive manufacturing plant is currently seeking high-energy and enthusiastic individuals for front-line leadership positions in our Veedersburg, IN facility.

Job Requirements

• Leadership Experience: 2–5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Shift Flexibility: Must be available to work any of the following shifts:

• This position will be on an off-shift. 3^rd shift
• Flexibility to work other shifts for supervisor coverage

• Technical Skills: Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Core Competencies:

• Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Results-driven with a focus on achieving goals.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations and lead departmental staff.
• Ensure departmental productivity and safety targets are met.
• Collaborate with supervisors, managers, and the Quality Department to maintain product quality.
• Partner with Human Resources to complete required documentation accurately and on time.
• Administer and uphold company policies consistently.
• Provide training on Inspection Standards and Work Instructions.
• Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams to meet production goals.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with the skill to guide resolution strategies.
• Experience in production planning, setting priorities, and managing workflows.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement principles and just-in-time (JIT) production methods.
• Understanding of safety protocols and proper use of safety equipment.

• Additional Skills:

• Ability to prepare and manage operational schedules to meet customer-specific requirements.
• Capability to implement measurable processes that enhance production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication, with strong organizational skills.

• Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as assigned.
