Description:

EFP Elkhart: Mold Maintenance Technician

2nd shift: 3: 00pm - 11: 00pm (Monday - Friday)

3rd shift: 11: 00pm - 7: 00am (Sunday - Thursday)

Position Summary:

Mold Maintenance Technicians are responsible for maintaining, checking, and setting up molds in a safe manner.

Key duties:
  • Set up and prepare molds for each order change
  • Perform mold changes
  • Clean molds
  • Troubleshoot any issues encountered with mold change processes
  • Complete daily mold change sheets and other required paperwork
  • Complete/participate in all PPS activities as directed by supervisor(s)
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)

Qualifications:
  • Mechanical training/background and subsequent work experience preferred
  • Training or experience in air, steam, and water systems
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Ability to use hands and fingers
  • Ability to lift, carry, pull, and push up to 75 pounds
  • Ability to climb, balance, crawl, squat, kneel, bend, stoop, and reach
