Direct Connect Logistix LLC is hiring a Logistics Specialist in Indianapolis, IN. This is a full-time position.
Job Summary As a Logistics Specialist, you are responsible for operational support and assisting with Account Executives book of business. You will ensure all customer orders are appointed, covered, picked up, and delivered on time, supporting continued business and the growth of a book of business. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform account specific tasks i.e. load building, load scheduling, overflow check calls, etc.Set appointments with shippers and receivers and record information in McLeod and Customers TMS.Provide basic customer and carrier support duties and escalate issues to Account Executive or Carrier Sales team as needed.Build relationships with load coordinators and others responsible for supporting freight.Monitor and track loads as needed to ensure details are accurately communicated and proactively identify potential problems.Provide necessary communication updates and issue resolution for operations and customers as required.Ensure accurate data capture, data integrity and TMS system entry in all carrier and customer related functions.
