Centra Credit Union has an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Mortgage Delivery Processor in Columbus, Indiana. This position is responsible for processing mortgage applications and being a point of contact for Mortgage Loan Consultants and Members. This position will deliver accurate and prompt disclosures; order, review, and coordinate all the conditions and documents required; and ensure each mortgage file is complete and accurate. A Mortgage Delivery Processor guides the file through all aspects of the process ensuring deadlines are met and loans are closed in a timely manner.

Ensures timely and independent processing of mortgage loan applications in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Centra policies and procedures.

Provides support to the Mortgage Loan Consultants and other Team Members concerning any questions, outstanding loan conditions, file status, and moving the file through the process.

Serves as a central point of contact for the borrower/Member, guiding them through the process, notifying them of their loan conditions, gathering their documents, keeping them informed of the status updates, and ensuring the Member receives quality service.

Maintains an active pipeline of loans, including purchase and refinance with both Conventional and Government loans (FHA, USDA, VA).

Prepares disclosure packages in accordance with TILA RESPA Integrated Disclosure (TRID) regulations, verifying the accuracy of the fees disclosed and delivering within the required timeframe. This includes the initial loan estimates, subsequent loan estimates, and all TRID defined change-in-circumstance disclosures.

Issues initial disclosure package, including Intent to Proceed to Borrowers, and ensures all applicable documents have been either e-signed or completed and returned by mail.

Issues adverse action notices for denied files. Processes incomplete and withdrawn files.

Prepares a pre-underwrite credit review and sets initial conditions according to Investor and Centra Guidelines. Calculates income from pay verification and validates sufficient funds needed to close. Reviews the application and documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Orders and reviews all 3rd party services, including credit reports, appraisals, title work, flood certificates, homeowners insurance, and necessary verifications.

Completes Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA's) on all denied, withdrawn, and incomplete files.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE – (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
2 years related experience and/or training
