Centra has an opportunity for a Digital Relationship Advisor I in Columbus, Indiana. This position is responsible for engaging Members in meaningful conversations and advising on lending and financial products and services to create value. A Digital Relationship Advisor will perform at a high level of competency in educating and counseling on financial solutions. This position will perform Member account transactions to fulfill periodic need in Retail Operations and contributes to the safety and security of the branch in compliance with policy and procedure.
The position has a Learning Path to develop and grow their skills while transitioning from a Digital Relationship Advisor I through Digital Relationship Advisor III role.

The minimum starting wage for this opportunity is $27.15 per hour. Spanish/English interpreters may be eligible for an interpreting differential.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Creates value by actively engaging Members during discussions and transactions while educating and advising Members on Credit Union products and services. Ensures financial literacy and applies expert knowledge of lending products, Member accounts and new account procedures and policies.
  • Proactively engages with Members in problem solving. Provides immediate thoughtful consultation for tailored solutions on Member specific issues.
  • Performs all aspects of lending processes including but not limited to full application processing, collateral valuation, document preparation, loan closing, file maintenance, loan underwriting within set limitations, lien perfection and document retention practices.
  • Educates Members about our loan programs, evaluates their needs and recommends loan options with Members needs in mind.
  • Performs regular Member account maintenance and telephonic outbound calling to Members and engages in Member outreach activities to build Member relationships through value added promotion of products and services and in support of the Member feedback program.
  • Engages with each Member to provide education and referrals to other lines of business.
  • Ensures own accountability for subject matter expertise in lending products and services, problem solving and financial literacy to continually grow skills required for Member engagement.
  • Proactively engages in value creating initiatives and tactics set forth by Retail Leadership.
  • Effectively uses non-Member facing time to create value through activities such as providing Member services in the Contact Center or Retail Operational needs.
  • Engages in required Learning Path for continued development and growth and obtains Centra certification within the specified timeframes.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE - (Equivalent combination of Education & Experience will be considered.)

  • High School Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)
  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience, including preparatory experience.
